Cobby Mainu the Manchester United‘s rising midfielder is in great shape. Most recently, he was approached by the Ghana Football Association to switch to serve their national team.
The Red Devils’ 18-year-old rising star has blossome into a full-fledged player with many performances for Erik ten Hag’s side this season.

Bruno Fernandes, United’s captain is another person who praised Mainu’s ability 2-3 years ago. And that it caught the eye of Ghana as well.
Members of the Ghana Football Association have told. The Times they are watching Mainu and are interested in persuading him to turn his back on England and opt for the African giants.
“Ghana Football Association is interest in pursuing, attracting and recruiting all talented individuals who are eligible for the national team.” said Randy Abby of the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association.
“Cobby is one incredible talent. And the association is very please to work with him and many others. People like him both inside and outside the country.”
Mainu has play for England at three youth levels. Including six appearances for the U-19 team. But he has never make his senior international debut.
