Barrott gave the striker a yellow card. But it was upgraded to a red card after a VAR check.
Silva is unhappy that Lascelles’ challenge on Jimenez was not punished two minutes earlier.
Silva said at the time: “It was very strange behavior from the referee from the first minute until the last.”
“Lascelles elbowed Raul and didn’t even get a foul. I’m not saying it has to be a red card. But it was a clear foul. You have to have referees who are experienced and can handle the pressure.”
